Chicopee Expands Food Service Line

Chicopee, Polymer Group Inc.’s industrial wipes division, has added several new products to its foodservice towel line. Improved fabrics in its Chix with Microban and Chix Utility towel lines provide better particle pickup, rinsing and scrubbing capabilities; New Chix Quat-Safe towels, designed to maintain the integrity of quaternary sanitizers, help restaurants and other food service providers to meet food safety standards and New Chix All Day towels are durable, absorbent and can be used for multiple applications during the course of the day. The new products better address the needs of PGI’s food service customers and provide value-added alternatives to cloth, paper and other nonwovens products, according to Scott Tracey, Chicopee’s vice president of sales and marketing.
